So, the rules are something like this: I have to tell you that I promote products and services on this site and receive compensation. (Apparently, the government feels that you have been living under a rock and didn’t know that commerce is one of the driving forces behind the internet.)
But, I’ll go one step further than that the compensation is a fraction of the money I spend on hosting fees, software, travel, and hiking gear just to do the hikes you read about.
And, as Mel (Firefly) would say, my family has “a powerful need to eat sometime this month.”
So, here is what I promise you: I don’t promote stuff I don’t use, like, or would love to have. If you like the stuff I promote great. If not, well — not sure what’s wrong with you — I recommend hiking more.
