Greater Cincinnati Hikers — If you haven’t been to one of my presentations, I forgive you.
I’ll need therapy.
But, no don’t worry…I’ll be…
FINE.
Check-out that map tree over my shoulder! How cool is that?
RRT is a great locally owned and operated outfitter with super friendly and helpful owners who work there.
Of course, when you are the speaker — you can get away with being silly and get people to join in — well most people.
Thanks to all of you who acted silly with me!
One of the absolutely best things about doing a presentation besides just having a blast is meeting the awesome people who have bought my book.
Like this hardy hiker.
See her…. she has three books.
THREE!
I had to ask. “I’m not complaining but why three?”
“I’m giving this one to my friend that introduced me to hiking. This one to a friend I want to introduce to hiking. And, this one is for me,” said Theresa.
HOW COOL IS THAT!
She is paying it forward and backward. What a great thing to do!
Soon, I met Mary of http://theinexperiencedhiker.blogspot.com/.
She got the first edition of the book and then set out on the adventure to hike all the trails in the book and write about the experience.
She also had the bright idea to do this to the book — yep — she spiral bound it.
I AM SO JEALOUS.
What a great idea — I hear some books on my shelves shaking in fear!
Any-hoo! Thanks to all of you who came to the event and to the guy who arrived late and didn’t mind sitting way up front — I know that kind of bites.
