I found a nature website — I’m smitten with it. If I could buy it a cup of coffee and a chocolate – I so would!
The site is Nature Rocks it’s designed so you can readily find nature based activities to do with your kids. The cross referencing is amazing and reminds me a lot of how a Project Wild Book is cross referenced.
You can select by weather, location (backyard, forest, park, or water), age of kids, and how much time you have.
Plus you can search for things to do around you by clicking on locations tab and either allowing the website to map where you are or typing in a zip code. However, do use your common sense when you do location, one of the spots that showed up on my map was a storage place.
The activities are great starters for parents on getting their kids outside and actually involved with nature.
