Moths and Milkweeds

So, I was out late last night and saw something move near my common milkweed plants. I grabbed my super bright Fenix LD15 Flashlight. Seriously, I could land planes UFOs with this flashlight! It is crazy bright.

And, of course my Nikon COOLPIX P520 and went to investigate.

This is what I found:

And, I found this opportunistic spider that was perfectly color matched to the lavender pink blooms.

What a great night! Just wish that great horned owl would come back when I have my camera with me!
