People ask me all the time, “Who has right of way on the trail?”

I’d like to add (that I learned at the Adventure Summit at Wright State University) is that horses don’t know what you are until you talk. If you see someone riding towards you on a horse say hello so the horse can identify what you are and that you are not something to be feared.
Just remember we share natural areas. Treat each other with respect and kindness and give back to the natural areas that you love by donating time or money, or both!
