Woodland Mound
Spring is definitely here! The daffodils are coming up at Woodland Mound. This past weekend we enjoyed a hike through Woodland Mound. The daffodils along the edges of the trail haven’t bloomed yet. But the buds are coming up. The delicate lacy leaves of spring beauties can be seen on either side of the trail behind the nature center.
For those of you with children, the playground has received a facelift on the form of new slides and play tower. The kids loved it. Just watch your step if you walk down the steep rubberized hill, the shredded tire mulch from the main playground rolls underfoot and will send you slipping and sliding–much to the delight of little ones.
